How to peel a tomato skin.

Method number 1: scald and refrigerate

Take a knife and make an X-shaped cut in the bottom of the tomato. Fill a bowl with cold water, add a few ice cubes and set aside.

Place a pot of water on the stove and bring to a boil. Gently lower the tomato into boiling water for 30 seconds or more until the skin is soft.

Remove the tomato from the pot and place it in a bowl of ice water. Leave it there for 5 minutes. When the tomato has cooled, take it out of the water and remove the skin.

Pierce the tomato in the middle with a fork and hold over a hot stove. Keep at a distance of 5 – 10 centimeters from the fire. Be careful not to get burned.

Slowly rotate the tomato by turning the fork. When the skin is soft enough, carefully remove it with your fingers.
