Drinking non-alcoholic beer can have a beneficial effect on the digestive tract, but wine, on the contrary, can harm the body. This was told by a gastroenterologist Sergei Vyalov.

According to the expert, non-alcoholic beer has a good effect on the intestines due to yeast – they stimulate the production of gastric juice. And organic acids improve metabolism.

“Non-alcoholic beer has a beneficial effect on the gut microbiome, which is responsible for the immune system, thanks to yeast and fermentation products. Beer stimulates the production of gastric juice, and organic acids improve intestinal metabolism. Sergey Vyalov told Gazeta.Ru.

However, wine will not bring benefits to the body. As the gastroenterologist explained, there are no useful substances left in the wine – only flavors and additives. But non-alcoholic wine will help those who are going to stop drinking alcohol or do not want to experience alcohol intoxication.
