  • 1 white onion;
  • 1 cup wheat flour;
  • 1 glass of milk;
  • 1 teaspoon of yeast;
  • 1 teaspoon of salt;
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil;
  • 1 egg yolk;
  • 1 glass of vegetable oil.


Peel the onion and cut into rings about 1 cm thick. Separate them well. Place the rings in a bowl of cold water and leave for 10 minutes. Beat the yolk and slowly pour in the milk. Keep whisking.

Sift flour, yeast and salt so that no lumps remain. Add olive oil and stir the mixture. Pour milk mixture into it. Whisk until the ingredients are well combined without lumps.
