Nestled within the charming village of Tourettes-sur-Loup, this superb Bubble House is a must see! This original building is only 35 years old, but it has not yet been completed, which did not prevent the French Ministry of Culture from classifying it as a historical monument. Designed in the 70s by Hungarian architect Antti Lovag for fashion designer Pierre Cardin, the bubble house is futuristic yet organic, with plenty of built-in furniture and oval, domed windows. The design is meant to take optimal advantage of the Azur Coast’s volcanic landscape, and its windows provide beautiful views of the Mediterranean.
Built in front of the Bay of Cannes, the favorite residence of fashion designer Pierre Cardin, the palace is an unusual place of 1200 square meters. The area consists of a lecture hall (500 seats), a reception room, a panoramic hall and 10 bedrooms. The pools and gardens span over 8,500 square meters of land. Floor-to-ceiling windows, undulating spherical walls, extending these shapes with stylish furniture designed to match harmonious architecture and the tastes of contemporary artists.
The panoramic hall, reception room and these 10 bedrooms, decorated with paintings by contemporary artists such as Jérôme Tisserand and François Chauvin, draw every guest into a strange and wonderful world of isolation. The 500-seat open air auditorium, with its 370 square meters, overlooks the Mediterranean Sea, with a breathtaking view of the Bay of Cannes.
Gardens, ponds and pools stretch over 8,500 square meters. The Bubble Palace provides the original residence for all events, receptions and television programs. In addition, here you can just have a good time in an atmosphere of luxury and privacy.
